The National Alliance of Black School Educators
The NABSE Foundation Mission

The NABSE Foundation was developed to support the organization's activities related to the Charles D. Moody Research Institute on African American Education. The Foundation produces the funding necessary to carry out Institute programs.
The programs have four (4) distinct elements:

Professional Development
The Institute’s professional development is intended to provide educators of African American children with research based training experiences. The Ron Edmonds Academies are components of this system.

Research
The Institute’s research program produces projects that identify educational practices that demonstrate excellence in the school performance of African American studies.

Communications
The Institute periodically publishes monographs, special issue papers and research reports.

Scholarships/Grants
The Institute awards financial aid to eligible students pursuing careers in education. Additionally, research grants will be available.
