Cassondria L. Greene
Cassondria L. Greene is a native of Petersburg, Virginia, where she obtained her elementary and secondary education. She received a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Special Education from Coppin State University in Baltimore, Maryland.
Currently, Cassondria is working in the Baltimore City Public School System as an ABS Educator at the Achievement Academy at Harbor City High School. Cassondria has been a special educator for 35 years in the Baltimore City Public School System, where she has been recognized as an outstanding teacher in Special Education.
Cassondria is a very active person in her community, at her job and at church. She has received numerous awards from the public and private sectors. Included among these awards are special honors and citations from the Mayor of Baltimore and the Governor of Maryland.
Cassondria is a member of the Baltimore Teacher's Union AFT Local #340. She is also an active member of the following organizations: NAACP (Baltimore City Chapter); Calvary Chapter # 2; Order of the Eastern Stars; Past President of Poppleton Community Organization, Inc.; The Poets Athletic Club, Inc.; Phi Delta Kappa Fraternity; Lambda Kappa Mu Sorority, Inc.; Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.; Past President of Metro-Baltimore Alliance of Black School Educators; Past President of the National Black Caucus of Special Educators (CEC); and she is currently the Treasurer of the Baltimore Teacher's Union.
Cassie, as she is called, likes to collect magnets, ceramic elephants and collectible dolls in her spare time.
Cassondria attends the Greater Harvest Baptist Church, where she has chaired numerous committees. Her pastor is the Reverend Errol D. Gilliard, Sr.
