Mary Grant, Ed.D.

Dr. Mary Q. Grant is a native of Washington, DC. She earned an undergraduate degree from Virginia State University, a Master's degree in Administration Supervision from Howard University, and an Ed.D in Organizational Leadership.

Dr. Grant is currently with the District of Columbia Public School System. She has served on many Superintendents' Task Force Committees working toward helping students and teachers to excel in their daily assignments. She sees education as the corner stone of life and it is the purpose for which we exist today.

25 years of experience in education in the D. C. Public School System, with over 18 years at the administrative level. Experienced at initiating educational programs, using the Effective Schools Models, as well as implementing strategies to meet the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Regulations. Active in local and state schools programs, and received numerous commendations for activities in professional and civic groups.

Dr. Grant also is involved in many other professional and civic organizations. She has receivied many awards and recoginition for her outstanding perform.
